The Evidence Based Rheumatology Podcast

Today we'll discuss an important trial on febuxostat (ulloric), which raises important concerns about its safety from a cardiovascular perspective. Be sure to tune in to the #RheumJC discussion that will be happening this Thursday! 

Short podcast today on an old RCT addressing the utility of hydroxychloroquine (plaquenil) in lupus. It's an oldie but goodie and one that I enjoyed talking about. 

This week we'll discuss the recently published ACR Workforce Study, which estimates a substantial deficit in the workforce by 2030.  We'll consider how dire the situation actually is - checkout the paper itself here. 

This week the rheumageddon is postponed (yet again) because I researched a paper about the HScore, a scoring criteria for hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), during a clinical vignettes presentation for fellowshiop.
